The Catchbox Pro is a module, converting existing beltpack transmitters, or lavalier microphones, into throwable microphones. This means it is easy to integrate with any event that already has a working wireless microphone setup. Users simply connect their existing beltpack transmitter into the Catchbox Pro’s built in mic and Automute electronics.

You need to use a third party transmitter with the Catchbox Pro. We have tested for compliance the following transmitters: Shure ULX-D1 QLX-D1 UR1M Sennheiser SK 500 (Evolution Wireless) SK 300 (Evolution Wireless) SK 100 (Evolution Wireless) AKG DPT 700 PT 470 PT 420.
You could possibly use other transmitters as long as the belt-pack physically fits inside the Catchbox Pro and can be connected with any of the adapter cables that we provide with your unit: – 3 pin mini XLR (AKG) – 4 pin mini XLR (Shure) – 3.5 mm jack (Sennheiser).
If you are using a beltpack from another brand (even if it uses one of these connectors) please contact us and we will be happy to advise on compatibility.
The Pro Module versions limitations depend on the beltpack transmitters of your choosing, which can operate in other frequency bands.. In most cases you may be able to have tens of units in one room.
The reason is that the Catchbox Lite comes with its own transmitter and receiver that work in the 2.4 GHz band. The Catchbox Pro doesn’t come with a transmitter, but instead allows you to connect your own beltpack. So there are more electronic components included with the Catchbox Lite.
The Catchbox Pro DOES NOT come with a transmitter or receiver so you need to use your own equipment. You can insert your existing beltpack into the Catchbox and use any of the 3 connectors that we provide (3.5 mm jack, 3 pin mini XLR and 4 pin mini XLR). Catchbox Lite
The Audience Engagement Solution for Less Demanding Events
Catchbox Lite is a complete wireless microphone system that works globally without a license and plugs into any audio system. It won’t interfere with other wireless mics and does not require active audio management. Simply turn it on, and throw it in. Due to the frequency being used, the system does not work in larger events of more than 100 people which require more advanced wireless microphones (See Catchbox Pro).

Catchbox can be used with most audio systems. The Plus version of the device comes with a receiver and accompanying cable and adapters that allow it to connect to audio mixers, laptops, and even speakers.
You can connect the Catchbox Plus Receiver to the audio inputs of devices such as audio mixers, stereo systems and laptops. First, connect the 6.3 mm audio cable to the receiver’s audio output port. Afterwards, use the different adapter pieces provided with the product to connect the audio cable to the audio input of your device.
The most common inputs are: 1) RCA (common in stereos) 2) 3.5 mm (0.14 in) (common in computers) 3) 6.3 mm (1/4 in) (common in audio mixers).
Catchbox Plus receiver and transmitter are already paired before delivery.
However, if you need to pair it, remove the capsule from the cover and press both volume buttons at once on the capsule. One example where you would need to perform the pairing is f you have 3 Catchbox Plus transmitters, and you need to switch the third one in place of one of the paired ones.
